It is our contention that there are no apparent legitimate or lawful justifications to flee from a pursuing law enforcement vehicle as described in this statute.
The consequences of such violations, following a conviction, should be commensurate with harm the actions that may or have occurred as a result of the actions of the violator while engaged in conduct prohibited by this proposed bill amendment.
